	Norwegian Nationals who wish to visit Sri Lanka, as part of working with NGO in Sri Lanka,should get prior visa from the Embassy. Therefore the applicants are advised to submit applications for visa to the Embassy, well in advance to avoid unnecessary delay.
	When the proposed visit takes more than 3 months period, applicants are advised to contact directly the Controller, Immigration and Emigration in Colombo, to get the relevant visa. In such cases this Mission issues only entry visa validity for a period one-month upon the approval received from the Controller, Immigration and Emigration, Colombo.
	Visa fee of NOK 300 is levied on each application and it can be paid to the counter OR to the Embassy Account No. 7058.05.77189 DnB NOR Bank. Please make sure to attach a copy of paid Bank slip along with the application form.

	Those who apply visa under this category should produce following documents with the application form.
	1. Duly filled Application for a visit Visa IM 32 B Form.
	2. Valid passport, which should at least 6 months validity before its expiry.
	3. Recently taken, passport size, two color photographs.
	4. A letter addressed to H.E. the Ambassador, Embassy of Sri Lanka, Oslo by the related NGO in        Norway. The letter should including following details.
	5. i. Name and passport number of the person scheduled to visit Sri Lanka ii. Purpose of the visit iii. Brief description about the organization iv. Contact details of the person in Sri Lanka
